About ads on Dopppel

Dopppel shows a few ads. Ads help us keep Dopppel free for you.

How do I know something is an ad?

Every ad has a small "Ad" label above it. If you see that label, a company paid to show you that message. It is not part of your chat, and it is not something Dopppel is telling you.

Sometimes we show a card with the Dopppel logo instead. That just means no ad was ready for that spot.

How are ads picked?

Some ads are matched to words from your current chat, so they fit what you are doing. For example, if you are asking about shoes, you might see an ad about shoes.

Can I close an ad?

Some ads have a small X button. Click it and the ad goes away for now.
